Full Sail University Adding IBM Cyber Defense Range to Campus

Full Sail University is launching an on-campus IBM Cyber Defense Range, built on AWS infrastructure and powered by Cloud Range’s simulation platform. The facility will give students hands-on experience with realistic cyber attack and defense scenarios in a controlled environment.

The range combines IBM’s security operations framework with cloud-based infrastructure from AWS, allowing scalable, real-world training exercises. Cloud Range provides the simulation layer that generates attack scenarios for students to detect, analyze, and respond to. The initiative reflects growing demand for practical cybersecurity training that goes beyond theoretical coursework.
